According to the latest newsletter from the folks at GAIN (not yet posted online), the former Half Price Pots location on Aurora Avenue at 81st street could become the city's newest farmers market. The lot is currently for sale and one prospective buyer, a Wenatchee farmer, hopes to rent space to other farmers to sell produce.
That would certainly be a welcome addition to the neighborhood and a step up from the vacant lots, empty storefronts and the payday loan shops that seem to be attracted to Aurora.
